This annual event is organised by the Rotary Club of Truro Boscawen. It has been running for several years and has proved a great success, and great fun, for all taking part and for the Charities who have benefitted.

Running from Friday, June 1 until Sunday, June 10, the 10-day festival, which has become one of the largest in Cornwall, aims to celebrate life in and around the river Fal. Established in 2006, this year’s Festival www.falriverfestival.co.uk will again encompass over 150 events and will offer a diverse mix of culture, music, arts, food, literature, drama, industry, events, gardens, sports and history.

SPONSORSHIP:

The aim of this Event is to raise as much money as possible for the chosen charities and as a guide each walker should try to raise £100, either by being sponsored or by making a donation. This figure is not compulsory, however it’s in the spirit of the event that each participant makes a contribution to the good causes fund. Whatever the amount raised, the efforts made will be very much appreciated.

Every walker raising £100 or more will be entered into a prize draw for £100 worth of vouchers.

Team entries are also welcome, with a TEAM PRIZE of £150 worth of Penrose Outdoors vouchers to be given to the team raising the most sponsorship. NB: Minimum of 4 & maximum of 6 in a team.
